About the Author

BECK MICHAELS is the bestselling author of the enchanting young adult epic fantasy series The Guardians of the Maiden and the fantasy romance series The Chronicles of Urn. She has been working on the Guardians series since she was sixteen years old, so she’d like to believe her characters exist in some tangible dimension, even if it’s only in her imagination.

Full-time world builder and part-time chaos goblin who survives off the tears of her readers, Beck crafts broken boys with claws and obsessions, then pairs them with girls made of moonlight and steel. Her books are filled with slow burns so torturous you’ll check the page count just to suffer longer.

By day, she runs an empire of exclusive book boxes, series merch, and special editions. By night, she snacks on toffee cookies while plotting how to emotionally devastate her audience (with love and heartbreak, in that order). If she says her MMC is “feral,” you better believe he’s building a shrine to his queen and growling when others breathe near her.
