BECK MICHAELS SHOP

The shop specializes in personalized books written by Beck Michaels. In addition to signed books, the shop offers curated merchandise inspired by the author’s series, including art prints, mugs, enamel pins, plush toys, collectibles, and other bookish items created for readers and collectors alike.

FULFILLMENT POLICY

Processing times for in-stock items may take approximately 7-15 business days before shipment. Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear after receiving your fulfillment notification.

Pre-order items, special editions, and book boxes may require extended production and fulfillment times. Estimated fulfillment windows will be provided on the product listing and/or through email updates when applicable.

All items included within the same order will ship together unless purchased separately. For example, if an in-stock item is purchased alongside a pre-order item, the entire order will ship once the pre-order item becomes available.

If your order has not shipped within the stated fulfillment timeframe, please contact us for assistance.

SHIPPING

The shop is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or misdelivered packages once they have been accepted by the shipping carrier. If your tracking information shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the shipping carrier directly for assistance locating the package.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the purchaser, failure to pick up the package, refusal of delivery, or any other issue caused by the recipient, the purchaser is responsible for all reshipping costs. This includes any increase in shipping rates that may occur after the original shipment date. Reshipping fees must be paid before the order can be resent.

Shipping costs will only be waived if the address was entered incorrectly by the sender.

International Shipments: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs fees, or VAT upon delivery depending on your country’s regulations and carrier policies. These fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and cannot be waived or reimbursed by the shop.

Please allow approximately 3-6 weeks for international delivery times. For pre-orders, special edition books, and book boxes, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for delivery after receiving your fulfillment notification email.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

If you would like to request a cancellation, please contact us using the Contact Form and include your name, email address, and order number. Requests will be reviewed during business days, and you will receive a response within approximately 1-2 business days regarding your eligibility for cancellation.

Original processing and shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any approved refund amount.

Orders that qualify for cancellation prior to shipment will receive a full refund minus any non-refundable processing fees.

Once an order has shipped, cancellations are no longer accepted. If you wish to return an eligible item after delivery, the item must first be returned to us in its original condition before a refund or exchange can be processed.

Refunds for returned items will include the purchase price of the item and any applicable taxes refunded to the original payment method if the item is returned within 15 days of delivery. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Personalized items, signed books, pre-order items, book boxes, and exclusive editions are considered final sale unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Once a refund has been issued, please allow approximately 3-7 business days for the funds to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.

EXCLUSIVE EDITIONS

The shop maintains a one exclusive edition copy per person policy. We reserve the right to cancel any order suspected of attempting to bypass this policy.

If multiple individuals are shipping to the same address, each order must contain different names and email addresses. Please contact us with any questions or concerns prior to ordering.

BOOK BOX PRE-ORDERS

Cancellation requests for book box pre-orders must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase. After this period, all sales are considered final.

This policy also applies in the event of printing delays, manufacturing delays, shipping delays, or other unforeseen fulfillment circumstances outside of the shop’s control.

RETURNS

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please complete the Returns Form within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, contact information, and a brief description of the issue. If reporting damages, please include clear photos of the affected item(s) and packaging.

All returned items must first arrive at our office for inspection prior to any refund, replacement, or exchange being approved.

To qualify for a return, items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

The shop cannot issue refunds, credits, replacements, or exchanges more than:

  • 15 days from the original delivery date for domestic orders

  • 30 days from the original delivery date for international orders

SHIPPING FEES

Shipping costs associated with returns are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, failure to collect the package, refusal of delivery, or any delivery issue outside of our control, the customer is responsible for all reshipping costs and any applicable return fees charged by the carrier.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, please email us at info@beckmichaels.com within 7 days of delivery and include photos along with a description of the damage.

Please note that minor cosmetic imperfections caused during transit may not qualify for replacement. While we package all orders carefully and securely, we cannot control how packages are handled once they are in the possession of the shipping carrier.

EXCHANGES

We only replace items that arrive defective, damaged prior to shipment, or incorrect due to shop error.

If you believe your item qualifies for a replacement or exchange, please contact us at info@beckmichaels.com and we will provide return instructions if applicable.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are considered final sale and do not qualify for returns or exchanges:

  • Personalized or signed books

  • Pre-order items

  • Exclusive editions

  • Book boxes

  • B-grade merchandise

  • Clearance items

  • Free promotional items or swag

If a personalized book arrives with an incorrect name due to shop error, a corrected replacement copy will be sent.

If personalization was requested but omitted, a signed bookplate will be provided. The shop does not cover return shipping costs for personalization adjustments.

CHARGEBACKS

Filing a fraudulent chargeback for a delivered order or bypassing the shop’s return process may result in the customer being permanently prohibited from placing future orders through the Beck Michaels Shop.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the shop’s fulfillment, shipping, cancellation, refund, and return policies outlined above.

OTHER SHOP POLICIES

DISCOUNTS

Discount codes are not valid on exclusive editions, book boxes, pre-order incentives, or select limited-release merchandise unless otherwise stated.

Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions, including BOGO offers, and are limited to one use per customer.

FREEBIE OFFERS

To qualify for free promotional items or gifts, the order subtotal must meet the stated minimum requirement before taxes and shipping costs are applied.

BOGO OFFERS

Please refer to the individual product listing for full promotional details.

Free items included in Buy One Get One promotions must be of equal or lesser value than the purchased item.

PRINT BOGO OFFERS

For every four eligible prints purchased, customers may select one additional 5x7 print valued at $5 or less for free.

Eligible free print selections may be submitted through the cart notes or designated selection field during checkout.

This offer excludes:

  • Holographic prints

  • Premium prints

  • Print bundles or print packs

  • Limited edition prints unless otherwise stated

PRE-ORDER INCENTIVES

To ensure fair distribution of promotional swag items, including free prints, pins, bookmarks, and collectibles, preorder incentives are limited to one set per person regardless of the number of orders placed.

This policy also applies to street team members, duplicate orders, and orders shipped to the same household when abuse of the promotion is suspected.

Pre-order swag and promotional items are available while supplies last and are not guaranteed replacements if lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

The shop reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue promotions, preorder incentives, and discount offers at any time without notice.
