Spring has arrived in a whirlwind over here.
My office is overflowing with boxes, my hands are permanently ink-stained, and I’ve been deep in the beautiful chaos of fulfilling King’s Kiss pre-orders. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like behind the scenes… it’s a mix of excitement, exhaustion, and me inspecting every book like a tiny gremlin determined to send you something worthy of your shelves.
Thank you to everyone who has shared the release and featured their favorite moments from Rune and Alora’s story. This book was truly a journey.
I’ve been a little quiet on social media lately. After a chaotic year of health struggles, burnout, a broken ankle, and a whirlwind release, I’ve been taking time to slow down and breathe.
At the same time, I’ve been focused on getting your pre-orders out the door. Slowly but surely, we’re making our way through a mountain of orders.
So… what’s next?

Performed by Aaron Shedlock and Melissa Moran, this story has taken on a whole new life. The emotion, the tension, the way they bring these characters to the surface, it’s everything I hoped it would be.
Let’s just say I’m even more excited for Wicked Storm.

Chronicles Special Edition Paperbacks
Speaking of new releases… Rune presents you with new treasure for your troves.
King’s Kiss is now available in a Special Edition paperback.
Featuring alternate cover art by @morgana0anagrom, custom chapter headers, interior artwork by @kotikomori, and my digital signature. We upgraded to a duplex cover with additional artwork inside, featuring art by @mahsa.gallerry. King’s Bride now has a duplex cover as well. 😉
King’s Kiss got a glow up!
Once I started seeing eyelashes on the old cover, I couldn’t unsee it. I had to switch to different spider lilies. 😅
The new cover is now reflected across all print editions. And don’t worry, the previous version was never officially printed, so you’ll only ever receive the final design.

Shipping Updates
We are working as diligently as possible to get your books and goodies out the door. My office has officially turned into a maze of boxes, and I’ve been hands-on with every step to make sure what reaches you is something I’m proud to send.
Sadly, our first batch of dust jackets arrived damaged. Rather than sending anything that didn’t meet my standards, I made the call to have them reprinted. That does mean a delay for that portion of your order, but everything else is ready and already moving.
To keep things organized and consistent, shipments are going out in weekly waves. Older orders are being prioritized first, starting with 2024 pre-orders, then moving forward from there.
If you’ve recently moved or anticipate moving soon, please make sure to update your address as soon as possible to avoid any delivery issues.
We are currently working through 2024 book orders, with packages being dropped off at the post office every Saturday. I might drop off during the week whenever I have a chance.

Due to increased printing costs and the final length of King’s Kiss, these exclusive editions are being produced through an overseas printer to maintain quality while keeping pricing as fair as possible. We’ve taken great care to ensure they match the size and feel of the original editions.
Once they arrive, they will be signed, inspected, and then sent to Bookish Signs for final packaging and shipment.

This story was a journey, and watching it find a home with you has made every bit of the chaos worth it.
And while all of this is unfolding, I’m already quietly anticipating comes next. New stories. New worlds. New kingdoms within Urn. More moments I hope will stay with you long after the final page.
I’m not officially drafting Wicked Storm yet. I am letting it come to me slowly this time. No rushing. Just listening for the story the way it wants to be told. Lucenna has already started whispering to me.
